It has come to our attention that students are planning a "Walk-Out" today due to the Donald Trump election. However, protesting in the form of walking out the school during school hours poses a liability for the school especially if a student is hurt or worst, during school hours. We have warned all classes that any student that walks out and leaves campus faces a potential expulsion. While students have the right to express themselves, it is unlawful to impose political beliefs upon others. Thus, this can not happen during school hours. If students would like to organize a protest, it can be at 3:10 pm when school is out.
We wanted to make you aware of this, and hopefully our students will understand why we can not allow this type of protest on school grounds.
Thank You. If you have any questions, please call the school.
