(Period 7) College Prep 11-Wednesday @12:50pm Assignments

15 sentences to start an essay that will catch the readers attention. Please submit it to me on a google doc or word doc. If it is hand written and I cannot read it, you will not get a passing grade. If you submitted the 10 Hook Sentences classwork, do not use the same sentences or you will get a 0%.

Please open this google doc, make a copy and fill it out. Read all the instructions, you will be required to submit your partner's essay with this review, as I need to see what you are reviewing. If you submit a picture of work and I cannot read it, you will not receive credit.

For those 7 that turned in their essay assignment, your final is to look at the edits I made and fix the issues with your paper. If I gave you an example of a hook sentence, you cannot use mine, or points will be deducted. This assignment will be checked for plagiarism.

If you turn in the same essay without making adjustments, you will be required to write a new essay in order to be graded.
Please use the rubric as a guide, as that is what I will be using to grade.



For all other students, your final is to write an essay with the prompt: Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?

Please follow the rubric, as that is the guide I will be using for grading.

There are guidelines on how to write a good college on the PPT and the Word Document posted last week. This assignment will be checked for plagiarism. Please do not copy and paste from the internet or you will receive a 0. No exceptions.

Please do the assignment (Google Workspace Certification: Sheets - Part 1) posted on Applied Digital Skills.

Go to g.co/applieddigitalskills and select “Sign In” to log into your profile. If you see “Wait,” click it and move on to the next unit. If you already see “Introduction to G Suite Certification: Sheets - Part 1” then you are ready to begin watching the first video. Watch the first video, and complete the steps described.

Revise the attached spreadsheet as you complete the videos/assignments. Submit it here when you are done.
